Rich Roll

As college athlete sometimes we feel we can be trapped and not have anyone to talk to. Coaches will be too judgmental and teammates do not always understand. That is why it is important to understand there are so many resources online that can help you with whatever you are going through. As I write this blog one of my goals is to let college athletes know how many resources are online that are there to give free advice that can help your life. From tips and tactics to habitual changes in life there is a cool person online providing free content to help.

Rich Roll is another former college athlete that was an All American swimmer at Stanford and drugs alcohol took him down a path of darkness. Rich shares his story openly to help anyone who is fighting this uphill battle but also shares that even if something like this happens to you this does not mean success is not for you. Rich now hosts a podcast and has written a book called Finding Ultra along with nutrition books about plant-based diets. Alcohol and drugs can easily be found as college athlete they do not help your life in any way. Now an occasional social drink is fine at a party but it cannot overtake your life. Rather let positive habits overtake your life like enjoying eating healthy, getting the proper amount of rest, and meditating on life. These habits will do more good than harm. I see myself living a longer and more fulfilling life by indulging in positive habits rather than negative habits such as drugs and alcohol. Rich Roll has plenty of stories that show the positive side effects of eating healthy and living with positive habits.
