Jim Rohn (Special Post) This blog post is special to me I am going to share my personal notes in this post because Jim Rohn was the first teacher that I found online. I never knew of this world of development and never knew how it could be accessed to easily. This work changed my life and I will share some of my notes. I found a video online of Jim Rohn titled the "Best Life Ever." I lived alone and was afraid I would not have anything to do but once I found this video that was changed. The video is four hours long of him giving a seminar in the late 1980s. I told myself I would come home each night and listen and take notes to this video every day until I finished the video. I would listen pause the video write some notes and repeat it for as long as I wanted each night. This process took me 31 days. Although at the end of the thirty days I compiled 52 pages of notes on this four-hour video and the notes changed my life. In this blog post, I will share some of the notes wi

Joe Dispenza In sports, just like in life I believe the battle is won in the mind that is why I write this blog to help college athletes utilize their mindset in order to outreach their potential. There are many different approaches to training the mind but one way people have done this is through hard scientific knowledge and that is what Joe Dispenza has done. He uses quantum physics to dive deep into the brain to change the hardwire inside the brain in order to help people overcome their obstacles. He explains how the heart and mind are all interconnected. He says, "When a person truly starts to open their heart, and they truly start feeling whole, there is a downregulation of the genes that create disease and there is a signal genetically to the cells for restoration, wholeness, balance, and order." Our lives as college athletes move so fast and sometimes it can feel like we can never catch up, we play games go to class practice weights study hall and do it all over aga

Grant Cardone Finances play a crucial role in any person's life. Some people claim to say they do not care about money and will live a life that does not seek wealth. Although that is a life that does not seek to share. A person who makes more has more to give, just as a person who learns more has more to teach. Grant Cardone is a person who has had his trials and struggles but has found a way to accumulate a net worth over 500 million dollars mainly in the real estate business. Cardone also coaches professional athletes on how to handle their money. Before I walk into any new element of life I like to learn as much as I possibly can about it before I enter it. For example, when I was in High School I wanted to learn as much as I could about college, so I would ask questions to friends about college and what it was like being a college athlete. This did not tell me everything because I had to learn and figure it out myself anyway. Although it did help me get a headstart. Grant

Bob Proctor For those who do not know what a paradigm is here you go: "In science and philosophy, a paradigm is a distinct set of concepts or thought patterns, including theories, research methods, postulates, and standards for what constitutes legitimate contributions to a field."- According to Google The reason I defined a paradigm for you is that Bob Proctor talks about shifting your paradigm and if you do not understand what a paradigm is you will be lost consuming his content. Proctor was featured in a documentary film titled "The Secret" which according to these people holds the secrets to life. This all seemed pretty fishy to me so I had to watch it and see for myself. End of the day it was them telling you what you think has a large determining factor on what happens. What you think about can become your reality. This can help with any person but specifically the college athlete. College Athletes face difficult schedules and what I call a split mind.
